Dentures are a removable replacement for missing teeth. Dr. Kaufman has extensive experience in placing a variety of dentures. Immediate Full Dentures can be fitted before teeth removal and placed immediately after, meaning you will not need to spend any time without teeth, but a follow up visit is necessary after fully healing to refit the dentures. Conventional Full Dentures allow the jawbone to fully heal, without teeth, before placement. When not all of the teeth need to be removed, partial dentures are an option similar to a bridge, but they are not a permanent fixture in the mouth.
Dentures should be cared for just like real teeth. Dr. Kaufman will walk you through proper cleaning techniques and assist you with adjustment when necessary.
